  Mazik is a freelance programmer and expert in the short film industry. Sh
 e has been active in the world of short film for more than ten years. From
  2014\, she worked as a programmer at the Short Waves Festival in Poland\,
  where she eventually became festival director (2019–2022). She currentl
 y works as Head of Industry at the Kaboom Animation Festival (Netherlands)
  and is a member of the selection committee for Film Fest Gent (Belgium) a
 nd the Glasgow Short Film Festival (Scotland). Emilia is co-founder and bo
 ard member of Talking Shorts\, an online film magazine about the short fil
 m medium.
